At Rick’s Castles, we spend most of our week on the road across Sussex and Surrey, helping families, schools, businesses and community groups set up for their events. From Crawley and Horsham to East Grinstead, Haywards Heath, Redhill, Reigate and all the villages in between, our team delivers everything needed to make a day run smoothly. Every job is a little different, and that’s what keeps it interesting — some weekends it’s a quiet family barbecue, others it’s a wedding for hundreds of guests.
Our product range is broad enough to handle all of it. We started with bouncy castles and now offer just about everything you could need for a private party or public event. You’ll find soft play hire, clear span marquees, marquee accessories, tables & chairs, dance floors & bars, and even lighting & electricals. If you’re planning a small birthday in a hall or a full marquee wedding on a field, you can hire all the equipment from us in one go.
The bouncy castles are still a big part of what we do. Our range includes kids’ bouncy castles, adult bouncy castles and disco bouncy castles, along with bouncy assault courses and giant mega slides. These are hired out every weekend for school fetes, fundraisers and family parties across Crawley, Horsham, East Grinstead and Horley. For themed events, our princess and jungle ranges are always popular, and parents often mix them with our soft play packages so younger children have a space of their own.
When it comes to marquees, the options are flexible. We provide 3m marquees, 6m marquees and 9m marquees that can be linked to suit the space. People use them for weddings, anniversaries, open days, or simply as extra cover at a house party. They can be fitted with marquee linings, flooring, furniture and white dance floors to make them comfortable and practical in any season. A lot of our marquee work happens in Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Reigate, Redhill and smaller villages like Billingshurst and Hassocks, where garden events are common.
Our bars and dance floors are used all year round, especially for weddings and corporate parties. We stock the 5ft drinks bar and 10ft drinks bar, as well as wooden and white dance floors in different sizes. Clients often add LED lighting, chandeliers, heaters and other accessories so the whole setup feels professional and well organised.
We look after all the logistics, from delivery and installation to collection at the end of your hire. Everything we provide is checked, cleaned and tested — inflatables to RPII standards and all electricals PAT tested. We plan routes carefully to cover as much of Sussex and Surrey as possible each week, including Crawley Down, Horley, Oxted, Loxwood, Pulborough and Newdigate. The goal is always the same: safe equipment, reliable timing, and a setup that fits your event and space.
